dandadan Chapter 166 - Is This a Little Fairy?
Back to school, but fun‑sized. Momo Ayase in dandadan tries to make peace with life at miniature scale—one grain of rice and a few drops of water at a time—until Seiko decrees that “too small” is no excuse to skip class. Smuggled in with Bamora and linking up with Okarun and Aira, Momo tests the boundaries of being seen and not seen in a world that’s suddenly too big.
In class, Okarun whispers logistics and Bamora plays lookout, but Momo can’t resist field‑testing folklore. When she speaks up, the nearby boy doesn’t register her at all—he thinks Bamora spoke. The result supports a key dandadan hunch: modern humans rarely perceive fairies unless they deliberately try. Okarun blurts “I’ve got it!” and earns a teacher’s rebuke, but the idea sticks.
The friends decamp to the library to research cures. Between apologies and reassurances, Momo admits Turbo Granny hasn’t come home and that Seiko misses her; Okarun promises they’ll fix this. Their teasing detours into talk of his confession and a joking “stay faithful” clause—until Momo spots a tiny figure perched atop a shelf. The Kozuka Knives arc opens on curiosity, comedy, and a breadcrumb the size of a thumb.
